The foundation of The Truss Collective was built inside Huk. Every Truss partner played a role at Marolina Outdoors from day one, helping launch and scale Huk from an early-stage startup into a leading performance fishing brand. Embedded within the marketing organization, our team gained firsthand experience in what it takes to build a brand from nothing to then grow it with precision, speed, and discipline.

During Huk’s formative years, the Truss founders helped lead and manage the entire marketing division, overseeing strategy, execution, and cross-functional alignment. From content and media to ambassadors, e-commerce, and retail marketing, our work ensured the brand showed up consistently and powerfully across every consumer touchpoint. We partnered closely with retail, events, and product development teams to align go-to-market plans and wholesale sell-in strategies—bridging brand storytelling with commercial results.

As The Truss Collective launched as its own agency, Huk invited us back as a creative partner to support the First to the Fish campaign. Truss developed a full suite of campaign-ready video and still assets designed to launch at scale and reinforce Huk’s leadership position in the performance fishing category.
